Walking Tour in Klimapark Ramme
Klimapark Ramme has been developed with a focus on how renewable energy and nature conservation can work together. As part of a collaboration between the Danish Nature Conservation Association's Lemvig branch and Skovgaard Energy, a range of nature initiatives have been implemented in and around the park - with special attention to lakes, wildlife, and biodiversity.
A new information centre has now been established, and its opening will be marked with an event where participants can explore the area up close and learn about the interplay between energy production and nature.
Programme:
16:30 - Welcome by Niels Erik Madsen, CEO of Skovgaard Energy. Followed by a walk to the information centre on Nr. Lisbjergvej with information stops along the way (approx. 1.8 km).
17:30 - Unveiling of new information boards. Speeches by Sebastian Jonshøj, president of the Danish Nature Conservation Association, Kristian Tikjøb Olsen, chairman of the Lemvig branch, and Niels Erik Madsen, director of Skovgaard Energy.
17:50 - Guided tour through Klimapark Ramme (approx. 2.3 km) focusing on the nature initiatives. Guides: Uffe Christensen (head of project development, Skovgaard Energy), Kristian Tikjøb Olsen and John Clausen (Danish Nature Conservation Association Lemvig), and - if time permits - biologist Karen Thingsgaard.
19:15 - Sandwiches and refreshments in the machine house at Vejling.
Registration via SMS by Thursday 27 August at 10:00 - required for catering purposes.
