WAITING LIST - Rock Club: Life as a Concert Photographer

With nearly five decades of experience behind the camera, Henrik Hildebrandt has closely followed rock music's biggest names - both at home and internationally. The lecture draws on his own photo archive and explores how the profession has changed: once photographers stood on stage and in the wings, today they are confined to the floor in front of the stage, and many major artists now forbid photography even for accredited professionals.

Hildebrandt co-authored the book "The Stars are out tonight" with Thomas Vilhelm. It spans seven decades of rock history and is illustrated with photos from his archive. The book will be sold at the event for 250 kr.

Rock Club meets 8 times during the winter at Biblioteket i Herning, room ABC. Each evening a speaker - typically one of the club's own members - presents a programme with storytelling, film clips and recordings. Participation is free but requires registration, as places are limited. There is currently a waiting list.
