Free Legal Aid from Silkeborg Retshjælp · Silkeborg Bibliotek, Silkeborg

Free entry

Free legal advice from experienced lawyers: 15 October – 10 December 2026, Silkeborg Bibliotek, Silkeborg. Admission is free.

Silkeborg Retshjælp's legal advisors offer free and - if desired - anonymous oral advice to individuals on legal matters. They can also assist with written case handling, including general correspondence and appeals.

They help draft procedural documents in small claims and applications for legal aid. Assistance with actual legal documents or conducting cases in court falls outside the service - that requires a lawyer.

About the venue: Silkeborg Bibliotek

Silkeborg Bibliotek on Hostrupsgade is the main public library for Silkeborg Kommune. Its collections cover books, music and film, and it runs a regular programme of events for all ages - theatre performances, board game evenings, a Repair Café and a reading-difficulties café, among others. The library network also includes branches in Kjellerup, Gjern and Them, as well as Silkeborg Arkiv.
