Classics Club - Madame Bovary

The Classics Book Club at Silkeborg Library brings readers together around great works from literary history, led by a library facilitator. Registration is done through the library's website, and you do not need to attend all three club meetings to participate.

Autumn's programme features three novels:

Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert can be picked up from Monday, August 31st. The meeting is held on September 29th, 5-6:30 PM at Silkeborg Library with Emma Karlebjerg as facilitator.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is distributed from Monday, October 12th. The reading group meets Tuesday, November 10th, 6:30-8:00 PM at Silkeborg Library - facilitator is Britt Skjoldborg.

The Stranger by Albert Camus can be picked up from Thursday, November 5th. The meeting takes place Thursday, December 3rd, 5:00-6:30 PM at Kjellerup Library with Imone Dahl Kramer as facilitator.

All meetings take place in the blue meeting room. If you register more than two weeks in advance, you will receive an email when your book is ready for pickup.
