Learn to Sew Children's Trousers with ATTER - Skraldival

In this workshop, you will sew a pair of children's trousers (up to size 152/12 years) from recycled textiles. The workshop is led by Stine Højland from ATTER, who has been sewing clothes from recycled textiles since 2019 - including bedding from second-hand shops.

Everyone works from the same beginner-friendly sewing pattern, and there is time for individual help along the way, whether you are a beginner or have some experience already. The ticket price includes a sewing pattern for children's trousers and a video guide for home use. During the evening you can also buy additional sewing patterns, for example for matching trousers in adult sizes.

Bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing supplies (scissors, needles, thread and seam ripper). Recycled textiles from Silkeborg Forsyning will be provided, but you are welcome to bring an old bed sheet from home - for example with Spider-Man or Moomin. If you need to borrow a sewing machine, write to ewj@silkeborg.dk - there is no guarantee that there will be enough for everyone.
