Junior Festival in Jyllinge: Konnichiwa Japan

This year's junior festival at Jyllinge Library celebrates Japan with ninjas, anime, food, and ancient traditions. The full programme will be announced in late August at roskildebib.dk/detsker.

Throughout the day, children can create Koi fish with artist Maria Lau-Krogh, draw manga with illustrator Kimmie Kawauchi, learn about samurai and their swords with Action Art, listen to Japanese myths, and visit the sensory garden. There are also quizzes and competitions.

Activities run all day, and children can come and go as they please. The festival is for children aged 7-12 and was created on the initiative of local residents in Jyllinge.
