About the venue: Skråen i Nordkraft

Skråen is Northern Jutland's main rhythmic music venue and has operated as a music association since 1978, making it one of the oldest in Denmark. In 2009 it moved to the Nordkraft cultural centre in Aalborg, where it now puts on around 300 events a year. The hall holds up to 650 standing or about 450 seated guests, with a programme ranging from rock and jazz concerts to stand-up comedy and lectures. In summer, Skråen also organises the outdoor festivals Skovrock and Fredagsfest i Karolinelund.

About: SYL

Since forming in 2020, SYL have carved out a reputation as one of the hardest-hitting live acts on the Danish underground scene, drawing on hardcore, post-punk and metal with lyrics that cut both inward and outward. Frontman Benjamin Clemens and the band deliver shows that stay with you.
