Greenland, the Arctic and the Future of the Realm

In September, Roskilde celebrates 60 years as a sister city with the Greenlandic town of Nanortalik, and the library marks the anniversary with this lecture.

Speaker Nauja works extensively with the political and human dimensions of the relationship between Greenland and Denmark - both as a debater and as an author of political thrillers about Greenland. She focuses on strengthening understanding of Greenlandic perspectives in Denmark and nuancing the Danish narrative about Greenland. With recent major geopolitical attention on Greenland, her insights are particularly timely.

The lecture takes place in the Hall at Roskilde Library. The venue is accessible for wheelchair users, walkers and prams, and people with hearing impairments are welcome to bring their own assistive devices.
