Secret Bunkers

After the liberation in May 1945, Denmark faced a concrete problem along the Jutland west coast: the massive German concrete structures built during the occupation as part of the Atlantic Wall - the defence line stretching from the Spanish-French border in the south to the North Cape in the north. What should be done with them, and how has the Danish relationship to these constructions evolved since?

Museum inspector and Ph.D. Chrestina Dahl from Vendsyssel Historical Museum addresses this question in today's lecture, with examples from North Jutland. The presentation lasts 25 minutes and is held online via Teams, after which participants gather to discuss the topic over coffee and cake.
