A guided shared reading session where facilitators Ditte and Ester bring 1-2 texts - a short story, poem, novel excerpt, or graphic novel. One of them reads aloud while you follow along in the printed text if you wish.

There are pauses throughout to discuss the thoughts the text sparks. There is no pressure to participate in the conversation - it's perfectly fine to just listen. You are welcome to bring knitting needles, crochet hooks, fidget toys, or other handiwork.

No registration needed - arrive at 15:30 at the library entrance by Bibliotekshaven/the library café, where Ditte or Ester will greet you. Location: Meeting room SORT.

The event is organized by Roskilde Libraries' volunteer literature activists in collaboration with Læseforeningen.

About the venue: Roskilde Bibliotek

Roskilde Bibliotek on Dronning Margrethes Vej serves as the central library for Region Sjælland and Bornholm and is the main branch in a network of six libraries across the municipality. Beyond books, e-books and films, it has a hall seating up to 150 that associations can borrow free of charge for concerts and events. The programme ranges from reading clubs and author evenings to workshops, music and children's theatre, and the ground floor houses the Roskilde Local History Archive.
