Veronika Rud opens the Paradise Jazz season in Copenhagen on Wednesday 30 September with a double concert at BRØK, Brønshøj Kulturhus. The concert takes place in the renovated Brønshøj Gamle Skole from 1901, near Brønshøj Square, where the cultural centre opened in August 2024. About the venue: Brønshøj Kulturhus

BRØK - Brønshøj Kulturhus opened in August 2024 in the renovated Brønshøj Gamle Skole, a building from 1901 right next to Brønshøj Torv. The house has a performance hall for concerts, theatre, film and talks, along with workshops for ceramics, textiles and visual arts. It is run by the City of Copenhagen and partly replaces the former Kulturhuset Pilegården.

About: Veronika Rud

In just a couple of years, Aarhus-based Veronika Rud has carved out a distinct place on the Danish jazz scene with two acclaimed EPs and sold-out shows across the country. Her acoustic trio brings together Nordic jazz sensibility, americana and neo-soul in a voice that is both intimate and sharply personal.
