Paradise Jazz: Veronika Rud and Lis Wessberg - Opening Concert in BRØK

Paradise Jazz opens the season in BRØK with a double concert that puts the Nordic jazz scene at the centre.

First, Veronika Rud performs with her intimate trio setup, moving between modern Nordic jazz, Americana and folk - a musical space that allows for the fragile, playful and skewed. Then Lis Wessberg / Yellow Map takes the stage in the original quartet lineup with music from Yellow Map, Twain Walking and the current album In The Wake of Blue. Lis Wessberg's trombone sound meets cinematic soundscapes and improvisation - and as a special connection between the two concerts, Veronika Rud returns as a guest soloist.
