BAR' KOR - One Evening, One Choir

BAR' KOR is a relaxed community singing evening where everyone can join - whether you've sung in a choir before or never tried it. Lyrics appear on screen and you sing along. It's not karaoke: the songs are arranged in choir versions, so the room gradually builds up to multi-part singing.

The repertoire features major pop hits, rock classics and guilty pleasures - music people know and can't help but sing along to. During the evening, participants learn 1-2 songs from scratch, and voices layer on top of each other until there's a full choir. No auditions, no membership required.

The evening is led by Stephan Haagensen, a trained rhythmic choir director with over 15 years of professional experience with rhythmic choirs in Copenhagen. He regularly conducts several choirs and vocal groups.

Tickets: 120 kr. in advance / 150 kr. at the door. There are two ticket types: Ticket with concert menu gives a seat at numbered tables at the front of the room, Standard gives a seat at numbered tables at the back. Table numbers are provided upon arrival.

Concert menu at Hotel Sidesporet (Social Seating) - 2-course menu at 295 kr.:
Starter: Soy-marinated tuna, topping and bread
Main course: Slow-roasted beef tenderloin, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and sauce
Arrival at the hotel 17:30-18:00, dinner served at 18:00. Dinner is served in the courtyard room as standard, but you may be seated in any room at the hotel. Allergies must be reported by the day before to rotationen@sidesporet.dk - remember to provide your order number.

Sitting together? Tickets purchased on the same order are automatically seated together. If tickets are purchased on different order numbers, send an email to rotationen@sidesporet.dk with the relevant order numbers.

Gift cards for Sidesporet can be used as full or partial payment - send name, gift card number and amount, phone number and which tickets it applies to rotationen@sidesporet.dk.
