Ghost Hunt at the Viking Burial Ground

During the autumn break, Lejre Museum invites you on an evening walk to the ship settings at Gl. Lejre - the Vikings' ancient burial ground - with a ghost hunt as the focal point.

Along the way, participants meet the stories of Maren, who gives people nightmares, Lygtemanden, who lures lost travellers astray, and Mylingen, whose crying or laughter can be heard in the forests at night. These supernatural beings stem from old Danish folklore and come to life again as darkness falls and Viking beliefs about the afterlife unfold.

The tours last one hour and are for children aged 8-14. They take place on 13th, 15th and 17th October at 19:00-20:00. The price is 50 kr. for adults, and children under 18 enter free. Registration is via Billetto.
