Workshop: Boost Your Family's Love of Reading

The library's children's librarians host a workshop evening for families who find it difficult to read together at home. The programme includes discussion about reading barriers and how reading supports well-being, imagination and empathy in both children and adults.

Families work on activities together, play with words, receive book recommendations and practical advice for prioritizing reading in a busy everyday life. Cake, coffee, tea and juice are served, and everyone goes home with a goodie bag.
