Workshop: Cut Your Own Unique Vinyl Record — Roskilde Bibliotek, Roskilde

Sound artist and author Jonas Olesen leads a workshop on cutting music onto a vinyl record as part of Roskilde Library's vinyl market. You secure a spot by purchasing a ticket to the event.

The workshop takes place in the Library Garden. The vinyl record itself costs 100 kr., as the material is rare and expensive. Note that the sound quality will not match a record from a record shop.

Bring your music on a USB stick in .wav format - maximum 6 minutes. Due to limited stock, only one time slot can be booked per person.

About the venue: Roskilde Bibliotek

Roskilde Bibliotek on Dronning Margrethes Vej serves as the central library for Region Sjælland and Bornholm and is the main branch in a network of six libraries across the municipality. Beyond books, e-books and films, it has a hall seating up to 150 that associations can borrow free of charge for concerts and events. The programme ranges from reading clubs and author evenings to workshops, music and children's theatre, and the ground floor houses the Roskilde Local History Archive.
