Musical Story: ABBA - My Story

ABBA - My Story is a musical narrative where the band's songs are at the heart of the experience. Singer Ingrid Gissel performs the numbers live and guides the audience through more than 60 years of music - from the four members' time in ABBA and into their respective solo careers.

The evening spans from Frida's jazz career and Agnetha's Swedish solo albums to Björn and Benny's musicals, with Ingrid weaving personal memories and stories around the music. On stage she is accompanied by Michael Eigtved on piano, while she handles vocals and guitar.

Ingrid Gissel is a professional singer based in Roskilde/Copenhagen and has worked within jazz, pop, soul, funk and bossa. She is active in several projects, including Ladies Affair and the ABBA tribute band ABBA Queens.
