KANO - A Physical Theatre Performance About Longing for Nature

Two characters, inspired by Into the Wild and the dream of a simple life, set out on a canoe expedition - away from the comforts of everyday life. What awaits them: wet matches, dry biscuits, a leaky canoe, fish that won't bite, and a waterfall lurking around the corner.

KANO is an interactive family performance where physical theatre, new circus, and visual poetry meet. The audience is taken on an expedition full of survival, surprises, and detours, where nature is not only harsh but also bears clear traces of humanity.

The performance is a humorous and thought-provoking story about our longing for nature - and about what we actually bring with us when we try to return to it.
