Evening singing takes place at Præstø Library on the second Thursday of each month at 18:30. Everyone is welcome - no registration required.

The repertoire draws from the folk high school songbook and songs beyond it. A strong voice is not a requirement; the desire to sing and be together with others is enough. The joy of singing and good humour matter more than perfect notes and pitch.

About the venue: Støberihallerne - Præstø Bibliotek og Borgerservice

Støberihallerne brings together Præstø's public library, citizen services and local history archive in a former iron foundry dating from 1898 - once the town's largest employer. Realdania By & Byg restored the industrial buildings, with their distinctive sawtooth roof, and the venue opened in February 2026. Alongside the book collection and civic services, it hosts talks, a literature café, children's theatre and repair cafés.
