Saturday Organ: Concert with Mezzo-soprano Anna Caroline Olesen and Organist Peter Navarro-Alonso

On Saturday, October 3rd, organist Peter Navarro-Alonso from Vor Frelsers Kirke and mezzo-soprano Anna Caroline Olesen perform together for the Saturday organ concert.

Anna Caroline Olesen studied at the Southern Danish Academy of Music under Henriette Bonde-Hansen. She has sung solo roles in oratorios and masses both in Denmark and abroad - including as soloist in Mozart's C minor Mass with Danmarks Underholdningsorkester. She is a permanent member of DR Concert Choir and has assisted in DR Vocal Ensemble and Theatre of Voices. She has also performed several times with the German solo ensemble Phønix16, which specializes in contemporary music, including at the festivals "Documenta" in Athens and "MaerzMusik" in Berlin.

Besides her position in Vor Frue Choir, Anna is employed as a singer at Rigshospitalet, where she leads Morning Song every week. Peter Navarro-Alonso has been organist at Vor Frelsers Kirke since 2021.
