Autumn Cosiness with Skidt and Pyt at Store Vaskedag

Skidt and Pyt - family comedy show: 16 October – 24 October 2026, Teatergården, Holbæk. Tickets cost 229–249 kr.

Skidt and Pyt return with their comedy of errors about laundry day, where innocent pranks set off a chain of misunderstandings. Little Solvei goes missing - or so nanny Helena and stable hand Keld believe - and now Skidt and Pyt must untangle the threads and restore good spirits. The performance lasts about 45 minutes and is aimed at children aged 4-9 and other young-at-heart souls.

After the show, there is time for homemade cake, drinks, crafting with puppet theatre figures, and play - both in the café rooms and in the courtyard garden. The entire event is scheduled for three hours with an open end time, so you can leave earlier if that suits you better. If you don't finish your puppets on the day, you can take them home. Everything is included in the price.

The performance is written and performed by Elsebeth Sass, directed by Asger Frøkov Gomez. The music is composed by Christian Koed, and the songs are sung by Mira Manniche and her children Anton, Karla and Liva. The two puppets are felted by Birgitte Krag Hansen.

The Skidt and Pyt performances form a series that can be seen in any order - during the year it is possible to follow all three and recognize the cast of characters. The educational focus is, as always, the concept of "Skidt, Pyt", but the performance also invites conversations about pranks, consequences and childhood life in the countryside in the old days.
