Nature Day at Skovens Hus Corselitze

DN Guldborgsund will be present with a stand about nature and the environment when Skovens Hus Corselitze hosts Nature Day on Sunday, September 13.

The day features a packed programme arranged by Skovens Hus Corselitze:
10:00 - insects caught with light traps the night before.
10:30 - truffle hunting with dogs.
11:00 - guided mushroom walk in the forest with mushroom experts.
12:00 - silent nature walk as nature therapy.
12:30 - lecture on oak processionary moths and their occurrence in the municipality.
13:30 - lecture on wild bees in the garden.

Throughout the day there are also several activities: the children's activity "creep and crawl" (catching and examining aquatic animals in the park's lakes), equipment rental for Nature Detective and Scratchpad Explorer, information about Green Tripartite in Guldborgsund Municipality, birds and bird boxes, and a creative workshop.

The visit also offers the opportunity to see the Museum Forestry Magazine and the large park at Corselitze Estate close to the Baltic Sea.
