Vordingborg Library opens an Upcycling Café - a network for everyone who wants to give old clothes new life. Here we sew, cut, knit and patch, sharing knowledge and ideas across skill levels. Both beginners and experienced crafters are welcome.

The aim is to reduce textile waste and create a creative community. The library provides 2 sewing machines, an overlocker, an embroidery machine, sewing supplies, table space and coffee. You bring extra textiles, zippers, buttons and other materials yourself.

The network starts with members working on their own projects, but can expand over time to help others.

We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month from 1-4 PM and the 4th Friday of each month from 10 AM-1 PM. The first meeting is Monday, August 10 from 1-4 PM in Kulturarkaden, 1st floor, Innovationsrummet.
