Conversation Salon for Civically Engaged Women
On 24 September 2026 at 18:30, a group of women invite you to the first Conversation Salon for civically engaged women at Den gule pakhus, Jernbanegade 5, Maribo.
The evening opens with talks from two women who share perspectives on engagement, community, and participation in society based on their own experiences. The conversation then continues in smaller groups exploring questions such as: what motivates people to get involved, what role do communities play in the desire to contribute, and what barriers might stand in the way of active participation? The Conversation Salon is neither a debate nor a lecture - it is a space for curiosity and reflection where participants listen to one another.
Coffee and tea are served, and water is available for purchase. The evening concludes with an invitation for interested participants to join a working group that can shape future Conversation Salons and develop the concept further.
The event is organized by Ann-Britt Lærkedahl Larsen, Summer McKnight-Juul Andersen, Vibeke Grave, Bettina Olsen, Maria Dideriksen, and Jane Falster.
