Littera|TUR About Mountains

Littera|TUR is a series of literary walking tours where the librarian presents books and texts on a specific theme while participants explore the town, library, and nature. Each tour has its own theme, and there is time to discuss authors and works - and to share your own reading experiences.

The tours take place three Wednesdays in spring and three in autumn. The autumn themes are Mountains (September), Lakes (October) and Deserts (November). Before each tour, participants receive a reading list, but it is not required to have read the works in advance.

The tours are 3-6 km at a leisurely pace, so remember good footwear and dress for the weather. Bring a packed lunch - there will be a place to eat along the way.

Along the way, participants are also introduced to the library's offerings: e-books, audiobooks, events and more. There is an opportunity to suggest ideas for reading clubs or book cafes.
