Sauna Experience with Banya and Pirts Rituals: 18 October – 29 November 2026, Nysø, Varde. Tickets cost 225 kr.

A 2 hour and 15 minute sauna experience at Nysø featuring banya and pirts rituals. The event takes place in a mobile sauna on the beach at Nysø in Søndre Plantage. The programme is divided into 4 rounds: the first three are traditional sauna sessions with essential oils and guidance, while the fourth round is inspired by banya and pirts techniques with heat, steam and birch whisk treatment. Between rounds, participants cool off with a dip in the lake.

The price includes homemade electrolyte drinks, fresh fruit, snacks and access to the lake. Maximum 8 participants.

Remember to bring 2 towels (one to sit on, one for bathing), bathing shoes and optionally a bathrobe.

10% of the proceeds go to the association Havblik. The organizer is Saunagus by Benfeldt.
