Messiah

Roskilde Cathedral Boys' Choir and Baroque Ensemble perform Handel's oratorio Messiah on Saturday, 5 December 2026 at Roskilde Cathedral, conducted by Egil Kolind. The work stands among the most beloved compositions in music history. Roskilde Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage church from the Middle Ages and has served as the burial place of Danish kings and queens since the 1400s. The cathedral houses over 40 royal tombs and ranks among Northern Europe's most significant Gothic structures. Doors open half an hour before the concert begins. Tickets cost 170-270 kr. The choir performs the work at two Danish venues this season.
