Description was written before the event

Radio Slave plays Jolene in Copenhagen on 11 September 2026.

About the venue: Jolene

Jolene is a bar and club in Copenhagen's Kødbyen (Meatpacking District), open since 2007. It occupies a former industrial unit on Flæsketorvet, keeping the raw look intact - worn furniture, bare walls, no pretension. The focus is firmly on music: resident and guest DJs spin electronic sounds from house and dub to techno on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, with the occasional live band. The crowd is mixed and LGBTQI+ friendly.

About: Radio Slave

Under the Radio Slave name, Matt Edwards has shaped underground techno and house since 2006 through his own Rekids label and a string of long, hypnotic club tools. His sets are defined by a relentless, almost meditative drive that keeps the floor moving from first beat to last.
