Friday Story: Angli Open: Friday 4 December 2026, 10:30, CHPEA Museum, Herning. Tickets cost 25 kr.

The Friday story explores Paul Gadegaard's artistic decoration of the Angli shirt factory. The narrative begins in the exhibition "Angli Avantgarden", after which doors open to Gadegaard's work in the spaces of VIA Design & Business.

About the venue: CHPEA Museum

Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelt Museum (CHPEA) opened in 1976 in Birk Centerpark, east of Herning, and holds more than 6,000 works - paintings, watercolours, sculptures and mosaics - by the CoBrA artists Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt. The circular original building, designed by C.F. Møller, is surrounded by a moat and clad in ceramic tiles populated with fantastical figures. In 2015 an underground corridor was added, connecting the museum to the Angli courtyard where Pedersen's monumental frieze "The Play of Imagination around the Wheel of Life" is on display. Alongside the permanent collection, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, lectures, concerts and children's activities.
