Jazz For Kids with "Lydens Hule"

Jazz For Kids with "Lydens Hule": Friday 16 October 2026, 11:00–12:00, Kolding Bibliotek, Kolding. Admission is free.

In Lydens Hule, trumpeter Ida Brinch and singer Emma Pilgaard have created a musical universe for the youngest audiences, where children and their adults don't just sit quietly and listen - jazz, storytelling, and play share the stage.

Both have been named Fyn's Jazz Talent of the Year and nominated for a Danish Music Award in the Children's Jazz category. In 2023, Ida Brinch received the Carl Prize as Composer of the Year for children's music and has written music for several children's productions with the Odense Symphony Orchestra. Emma Pilgaard is a regular frontwoman in the same orchestra's children's productions and appears on the Odense Jazz Orchestra's album Jazzmin, which received a Carl Prize in 2025.

Jazz for Kids is a festival held twice a year - during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and in Kolding during the autumn school holidays. The event is created in collaboration with Trio and takes place in the Torvet room at Kolding Library.

Free entry - just show up!
