The Happy Lion

A warm and witty puppet theatre performance for children aged 2 to 5.

Everyone in town loves the lion when he sits quietly in his cage - but when he escapes one day to visit his friends, everything suddenly looks completely different.

"I suppose that must be how people behave when they're not in a zoo," said the happy lion and set out to find a friend who wouldn't faint or scream or run away.

The Happy Lion is about the wonder of venturing out into the world alone for the first time - and about the great upheaval when you discover that everything outside is different from home. The performance takes place in Folkets House Hall at Struer Library.
