Every year, libraries and DR organize "DR Romanklubben", where reading groups across the country read and debate six new Danish novels over six months. Along the way, radio programmes and podcasts featuring the authors are released on DR Lyd.

All six books are candidates for the DR Roman Prize, and the winner is announced at the end of May 2027 following a vote among the country's DR Romanklub groups.
