DYNAMO Kickstarter: The Artist Who Couldn't Become Afraid

DYNAMO Kickstarter: Artist Fear Talk: Tuesday 15 December 2026, 08:00–10:00, Dynamo - Workspace for circus and performing art, Odense. Admission is free.

Is it the absence of fear - or the ability to act even when fear is present? Most artists know it: stage fright in the backstage room, the fear of failing, being reviewed, rejected, or forgotten. The musician feels it before the first note, the comedian in the silence before the first joke, the visual artist when the doors open to the opening.

Our artistic idols seem so confident when they step forward - but are they fearless, or have they simply found a way to live with the fear?

At this event, artists with widely different forms of fear are invited to an honest conversation about all the things we rarely see: the last five minutes before the curtain rises, the rituals, the doubts, the adrenaline, and the small strategies that make it possible to go on stage anyway.
