JAKOB THRANE - STANDING AND BLOOMING

Jakob Thrane sometimes has the feeling that everyone else received a manual to life that he himself forgot to pick up. New words appear, technology shifts, and unwritten rules change all the time.

In his third one-man show, Standing and Blooming, he takes the audience into those moments when the world has moved a little away from you: when you answer wrong to youth slang, get a stiff back from sneezing, or accidentally treat a pensioner like a golden retriever at dog training.

Thrane is known from the TV success Stormester and his earlier one-man shows Hurtig and Sart. With Sart, he made history in Danish comedy as the first filmed one-man show in the country.

Standing and Blooming is about trying to keep up with a world that constantly changes - and discovering that you're probably not the only one who feels a bit left behind.
