"Our best album, if you ask us" - the 1978 album returns live

Shu-bi-dua 2.0 embarks on a Danish tour in autumn 2026 with a single concept: the band's fifth studio album, 78'eren, is performed in its entirety as the evening's first set, followed by a finale with greatest hits from the back catalogue.

"It's our best album, if you ask us," says Michael Hardinger, highlighting 'Den røde tråd', 'Knuden' and 'Danmark' as songs that each define the record. He calls the latter "the country's second-best national anthem" - and the band intends to play it, even though the lyrics contain lines that "you're not really supposed to sing anymore".

Joining the tour is TV doctor Peter Qvortrup Geisling, who also accompanied the band on the Shu-bi-jubilee tour in 2023.
