Rasmus Skov Borring visits Løgumkloster Church for an evening of communal singing and storytelling. The repertoire centres on Christmas songs and hymns from the Højskolesangbogen - both traditional Christmas hymns and newer Advent and Christmas classics.

Borring also shares stories about his workshop practice of composing new communal songs, including his collaboration with the late poet Jens Rosendal, with whom he toured for many years.

Rasmus Skov Borring (b. 1981) is a pianist, composer and lecturer, holding a cand.mag. degree in Modern Culture and Cultural Communication from the University of Copenhagen. He has released several albums of piano music and is the author of the book "Er der steder hvor sandheden synger" (Are There Places Where Truth Sings). In 2019 he received the N.F.S. Grundtvig Prize and in 2022 was nominated for the main prize at the Artbeat Prize for his work promoting the communal singing tradition in Denmark and abroad. He is, among other things, the composer of "Gi' os lyset tilbage" (Give Us Back the Light), which is included in the Højskolesangbogen.
