Littera|TUR About Lakes

Littera|TUR is a series of walking tours where literature and nature meet. Three times in autumn, the tour takes you through the city, to the library, and into nature - with literature as the focal point. October's tour focuses on lakes.

Along the way, the librarian shares stories about literature on the theme and reads from selected works. There is time to discuss authors and books and share reading experiences with others. You don't need to have read the works beforehand.

The tours are 3-6 km at a leisurely pace, so remember good walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a packed lunch - you'll find a place to eat along the way. After the tour, you'll receive a reading list with reservation links.

The library also introduces e-books, audiobooks, and other offerings along the way - and you have the opportunity to suggest ideas for reading clubs or book cafes.

The three autumn themes are: September - Mountains, October - Lakes, November - Deserts.
