Littera|TUR About Deserts

Littera|TUR About Deserts - literary walk: Wednesday 4 November 2026, 11:00–14:00, Langeland Bibliotek, Rudkøbing. Admission is free.

Littera|TUR is a series of literary walking tours where the librarian shares stories about books on nature-based themes while participants listen to passages read aloud from selected works. There is time to discuss authors and books, and to share your own reading experiences with the group.

The tours take place three times in autumn: September focuses on mountains, October on lakes, and November on deserts. Each walk is 3-6 km at a leisurely pace, so wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Bring a packed lunch - the group will find a spot to eat along the way.

You don't need to have read the works beforehand. After each tour, participants receive a reading list with reservation links. Along the way, you'll also learn about the library's offerings: e-books, audiobooks, events, and more - and there's an opportunity to discuss reading clubs or book cafés.
