Startup Meeting: New Seed Library

A seed library is a place where people share seeds with each other. At Langeland Library, you can freely collect seeds and grow them at home - in your garden, greenhouse, or on your balcony. When your plants produce seeds in autumn, you can return some so others can use them. Seeds, knowledge, and the joy of growing travel this way from garden to garden.

The startup meeting takes place on Wednesday, September 9 from 5-6 PM, where the foundation for the seed library will be laid together: how it should work and how it will be set up at the library. If you have seeds or empty jam jars at home, you are welcome to bring them along.

You don't need any experience to participate - both beginners and experienced gardeners are welcome. Going forward, there will be regular opportunities to meet, exchange experiences, and develop the seed library further.

Seeds can be deposited at the library at any time - remember to write clearly on the packaging what type of plant it is. Questions can be directed to Kim at kimhei@langelandkommune.dk.
