Internet Security

October is National and European Cybersecurity Month, and in this connection, volunteer IT ambassadors from Helsinge Library's IT Café are giving a lecture on internet security.

Based on material from the Danish Agency for Digitisation, the lecture covers current threats: phishing attempts, fake websites, insecure emails, and fraud on social media. The focus is on how to recognize warning signs and prevent identity theft. The lecture includes practical exercises, real-world examples, and time for questions. All participants receive a folder with advice from the Danish Agency for Digitisation to take home.

Admission: 10 kr. paid on the day, including a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.
