VASt a: The final beginning

The final beginning (lecture performance)

How can participatory choreographic practices create spaces for care, coexistence and intercultural exchange across different contexts in Denmark? Drawing on personal experiences of migration, VASt a explores female experience, culture, pain and care as embodied forms of knowledge - and reflects on how hybrid symbolic spaces can give new voices room in artistic and social contexts.

Through dance and eco-somatic practices, the performance moves between personal experience, different landscapes and the intimate space of home. Age limit: 10 years.

The lecture performance is part of Lucía Maglio's graduation project "VASt a" from the MFA in Dance and Participation. The day before - Sunday 20 September, 14:00-15:30 - she also holds a sharing practice at her home in Ballerup. Read more at ddsks.dk
