Roskilde Festival Folk High School - open house: Wednesday 4 November 2026, Orange Foredragssal, Roskilde.

Are you curious about a longer folk high school stay of 3, 4 or 6 months? Roskilde Festival Folk High School offers programmes in music, sound and lighting, event management, music management, media production and art.

About the venue: Orange Foredragssal

Orange Foredragssal is the public heart of Roskilde Festival Højskole, a folk high school that opened in 2019 in the Musicon district. The hall is housed in a former concrete factory and painted orange in direct reference to the festival's "orange feeling". It hosts the weekly Orange Onsdage series - talks, debates, concerts and workshops, always opened with communal singing - and doubles as a cinema, theatre and concert space. All events are open to the public.
