Dea Trier Mørch's classic 'Vinterbørn' turns 50 this autumn, and she has been named 'Classic of the Year 2026' by the team behind Klassikerdagen. This morning session focuses on Mørch's literary work as well as her practice as a painter and graphic artist, with highlights from selected works.

The event is free - just show up in the fiction section on the 1st floor. Bring your own cup and the library will provide coffee and tea.

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek

Horsens Bibliotek is the municipality's three-floor main library, housed in Tobaksgården. Alongside its book and media collections it offers study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café. The programme includes film screenings, author evenings, reading clubs and a repair café, and the library organises the annual Crime Fair held at FÆNGSLET. A local history collection on the second floor covers Horsens and the surrounding area.
