Literature Salon on Author of the Month: Karl Ove Knausgård

Knausgård's authorship repeatedly circles around death - not as an abstract theme, but as something that breaks into everyday life with concrete consequences. In Natskolen, hell hits the ground without reservation. In Arendal, the bereaved seek to reach the dead. In Ulvene fra Evighedens skov, death is attempted to be completely neutralized. The banal and the metaphysical live side by side in Knausgård's work - and it is anything but dry.

The literature salon is free, and no registration is required - just show up. Bring your own cup, and the organizers will provide coffee and tea.
