The Tools of Propaganda

Where is the line between propaganda and visual communication - and is that line even clear today, when even a shampoo ad tries to shape our views? This talk from Ladies*, Wine** & Design explores that question.

The speaker is Sesil Knage, an independent graphic designer and illustrator with 14 years of experience in poster art and visual communication - both professionally and as a left-wing activist. She calls herself a propagandist, but not in the way you might imagine. The talk covers four questions: what propaganda actually is, why it works, whether it is everywhere, and whether it can be used for good.

The talk is in Danish. Doors open at 18:45.
