Lecture by Morten D.D. Hansen and DN Bornholm Annual Meeting
Bornholms Højskole, Østermarie
Lecture on farmland and nature conservation: Wednesday 4 November 2026, 19:00–21:30, Bornholms Højskole, Østermarie.
The evening opens with a lecture by Morten D.D. Hansen, biologist, author and speaker. The lecture is open to everyone.
The topic is agricultural land - approximately 1,000 hectares - that will transition to forest and nature in the coming years. How is new nature created on previously cultivated areas, and can it become species-rich nature again? Morten D.D. Hansen paints a picture of the possibilities for a future with more and richer nature.
After the lecture there is a coffee break, followed by DN Bornholm's annual meeting with elections to the board. This part is reserved for members of the Danish Nature Conservation Association.
