Bat Evening at Vokslev Limestone Quarry

At Huul Mølle, 9 of Denmark's 17 bat species have been recorded - an excellent starting point for an evening in the field.

The evening begins with an introduction to bats as mammals. Afterwards, we set out to explore with bat detectors and night vision binoculars, and we set up light traps for insects so we can see what bats are actually hunting in the dark.
