Dementia and Family Carers Evening

This evening focuses on dementia and everyday life as a family carer - from the first signs you might overlook to the question of how to maintain contact when cognitive functions change.

The speakers will cover different forms of dementia and the signals to watch for. They will also explain what an assessment involves and what options exist to ease daily life - for both the person with dementia and the family.

Speakers are Bodil Lynghøj Møller (dementia consultant in Horsens Municipality), Linda Fiirgaard (care assistant in elderly care and Day Centre North, Aarhus Municipality) and Hanne Korsgård (organist, choir director and consultant).

The event takes place in the Library Room at Hovedgård Library.
