TEXTILITET - When Textile Becomes Art

TEXTILITET is a group exhibition at KunstPunkt in Augustenborg, where four artists explore what happens when textile is freed from its traditional contexts. The exhibition runs from Saturday, 19 September to 1 October 2026 and is open daily from 11:00 to 16:00.

Threads become structures, fibres transform into sculptural forms, and textile materials feature in installations that move between the poetic, conceptual, and experimental. The four participating artists - Camilla Hampen, Søren Bredahl, PlasmaArt Majbritt, and Mette Larsen / MeTTopiA - all work with installation and share a fascination with the three-dimensional and sensory. Despite their different approaches and methods, they meet in a shared interest in threads, fibres, wrappings, and the unexpected discoveries that emerge through experimentation.

Opening reception on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at 14:00. Everyone welcome.
