When someone develops dementia, life changes for everyone close to them.

In this lecture, Anja Aalund shares her experiences as a family member caring for her husband with dementia. She puts words to the emotions that often follow: love, responsibility, grief, loss, helplessness, guilt - and the desire to still find life, presence and meaning in the midst of difficulty. Drawing on the concepts of Life's Flickers and Life's Glimmers, she speaks about the life shaken by illness, and about the moments of light and vitality that can still emerge along the way.
