Fantasy Birds in Cardboard - kids workshop: Thursday 15 October 2026, 10:00–14:00, Langeland Bibliotek, Rudkøbing.

What would birds look like if you decided? At this workshop, we play with cardboard, feathers and colours to create fantasy birds from recycled materials - birds that can hang from the ceiling or stand as decoration on a table.

The event is for children from 3 years old. Feel free to bring an adult who can help with cutting. No registration required.

Thursday, October 15, 10:00-14:00 at Fiskeriets Hus' premises in Bagenkop, opposite Momlis (Værftsvej 12, 5935 Bagenkop).

About the venue: Langeland Bibliotek

Langeland Bibliotek is the main public library in Rudkøbing, serving the whole island through a bookmobile that also calls at Strynø every three weeks. The collection covers books, films, music, e-books and audiobooks, and the building doubles as a study space with free internet and newspapers. The library regularly hosts talks, workshops and literary evenings. A library card is needed to borrow materials, but entry is free with a health card.
